Research: Production Company Logo

I have chosen four of the most recognised production companies and began to study their logos. We have decided on the name 'Moon Productions' for our production company as we believe it to be simple but affective and it would be able to create a good logo to go with the name. What I like about the 'Dreamworks' logo is that is simple but creates a mystical, dream-like affect which works well with the production name. The colours are also very soothing. The '20th Century Fox' logo brings in a real Hollywood film element as there is the use of the colour gold and the bright lights, which is perfect for the companies purpose. The 'Universal' logo again is simple but extremley affective and memorable log. The image of the Earth suggests that their movies appeal to everyone - I would like to create something similar to this when creating the Moon Productions logo. I like that the 'Paramount' logos main focus is a beautiful scene, also the element of the stars suggests quality films. I will consider all these different elements when creating my production logo.
