In the first two minutes of the film, we see Sophie tied up in a chair in a dark room, she has been kidnapped. Sophie has flashbacks which reveals what happened, these flashbacks show her walking through a park as well as showing her friend Emily waiting for her. We see that he is watching her and it is quite obvious that he is the one who kidnapped her. The kidnapper asks Sophie's friend, Emily, to complete a number of tasks in order to release Sophie and Emily will do anything to get her best friend back. Throughout the film, Sophie is held hostage by the kidnapper in the garage, she becomes weaker and weaker and begins to lose faith. Meanwhile, Emily completes a number of dangerous tasks in order to collect money for the kidnapper. Emily is told that if she doesn't hand over the money in a certain amount of time, she will never see Sophie again. The tasks include mugging, robbery, violence and minor prostitution. We find out that Emily's father owes the kidnapper drugs and the kidnapper is using his daughter and her friend in order to get back at him and claim his money back. Emily's Father finds out that the kidnapper has taken Sophie and says he is going to call the police, the kidnapper threatens to murder Sophie and begins to beat her, but Sophie is saved as the police arrive just in time and arrest him.
